Pursuant to the provisions of KSA 72-8205(a), the Board of Education of Unified School District No.500, Wyandotte County, State of Kansas, will meet at 5:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, effective August 1, 2009, with the following exceptions:

• The second meeting in December will be canceled.
• The first meeting in July will be canceled.
• The second meeting in July will be held on the third Tuesday.

In the event that the regular meeting date shall fall on an election day, a legal holiday, or on any school holiday established by the Board of Education, the regular meeting shall be held on the following day commencing at the same hour.

All Board meetings will be held in the third floor auditorium of the Public Library and School Administration Building, 625 Minnesota Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas, with the following exceptions:

• September 22: Education Center, 4601 State Avenue, Suite 38
• October 13: Northwest Middle School, 2400 N. 18th Street
• November 10: Grant Elementary School, 1510 N. 4th Street
• December 8: Education Center, 4601 State Avenue, Suite 38
• January 12: KCK Early Childhood Center, 1708 N. 55th Street
• February 9: Stony Point South Elementary School, 150 S. 78th Street
• March 9: Sumner Academy, 1610 N. 8th Street

Except as otherwise provided by law, all meetings for the conduct of the affairs of and the transaction of business by the Board of Education of Unified School District No. 500 shall be open to the public.

Any regular meeting of the Board of Education may be adjusted to another time, date and place.
