Pursuant to the provisions of KSA 72-8205(a), the Board of Education of Unified School District No.500, Wyandotte County, State of Kansas, will meet at 5:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, effective August 1, 2008, with the following exceptions:

• The second meeting in December will be canceled.
• The first meeting in May will be canceled.
• The second meeting in May will be held on the third Tuesday.
• The first meeting in June will be held on the first Tuesday.
• The second meeting in June will be held on the third Tuesday.
• A special meeting will be held in June on the fifth Tuesday.
• The first meeting in July will be canceled.
• The second meeting in July will be held on the third Tuesday.

In the event that the regular meeting date shall fall on an election day, a legal holiday, or on any school holiday established by the Board of Education, the regular meeting shall be held on the following day commencing at the same hour.

All Board meetings will be held in the third floor auditorium of the Public Library and School Administration Building, 625 Minnesota Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas, with the following exceptions:

• October 14: Rosedale Middle School, 3600 Springfield
• November 11: Holman Academy Charter School, 3334 Haskell
• December 9: Education Center, 4601 State Avenue, Suite 38
• February 10: Lindbergh Elementary School, 641 N. 57th Street
• March 10: Harmon High School, 2400 Steele Road

Except as otherwise provided by law, all meetings for the conduct of the affairs of and the transaction of business by the Board of Education of Unified School District No. 500 shall be open to the public.

Any regular meeting of the Board of Education may be adjusted to another time, date and place.
