Pursuant to the provisions of KSA 72-8205(a), the Board of Education of Unified School District No.500, Wyandotte County, State of Kansas, will meet at 5:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, effective August 1, 2010, with the following exceptions:

• The second meeting in December will be canceled.
• The first meeting in July will be canceled.
• The second meeting in July will be held on the third Tuesday.

In the event that the regular meeting date shall fall on an election day, a legal holiday, or on any school holiday established by the Board of Education, the regular meeting shall be held on the following day commencing at the same hour.

All Board meetings prior to January 1, 2011, will be held in the third floor auditorium of the Public Library and School Administration Building, 625 Minnesota Avenue and all Board meetings held after January 11, 2011, will be held in the auditorium of the Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools Central Office, 2010 N. 59th Street, with the following exceptions:

• October 12: Arrowhead Middle School, 1715 N. 82nd Street
• November 9: Douglass Elementary School, 1310 N. 9th Street
• November 23: West Branch Library, 1937 N. 82nd Street
• December 14: West Branch Library, 1937 N. 82nd Street
• January 11: West Branch Library, 1937 N. 82nd Street
• February 8: Frank Rushton Elementary School, 2605 W. 43rd Street
• March 8: Schlagle High School, 2214 N. 59th Street

Except as otherwise provided by law, all meetings for the conduct of the affairs of and the transaction of business by the Board of Education of Unified School District No. 500 shall be open to the public.

Any regular meeting of the Board of Education may be adjusted to another time, date and place.
