Ms. Vicki Meyer
A former teacher who taught in USD500 for ten years, she was elected to her first term on the Board in 1997. She is currently an attorney working for the Kansas City Kansas Prosecutors Office as the Domestic Violence Prosecutor. Ms. Meyer obtained her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Education from Kansas State University. Her law degree was obtained from the University of Kansas. Ms. Meyer's son, a 2003 Sumner Academy graduate, graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 2008 with a mechanical engineering degree. He is employed in Lenexa, Kansas with Henderson Engineering Company. Ms. Meyer's daughter graduated in 2010 from Sumner Academy and earned her International Baccalaureate Diploma. She is attending Boston University.
