Our district consists of 47 schools including three preschools, 30 elementary schools (grades K-5), eight middle schools (grades 6-8), four senior high schools (grades 9-12), Sumner Academy of Arts and Science (grades 8-12), and an alternative school. At last count we had 19,864 students.
We have approximately 3,300 employees with about 1,450 of them teachers.

During Spring Break, March 15 - 22, office hours for the Education Center and Central Office are 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday. Schools are out for the week. Schools resume and offices return to the normal 7:30am to 4:30pm schedules on Monday, March 22.
