Marking and Recording Attendance

To mark a student absent or tardy the teacher clicks on the row with the students name and a checkbox will appear in the absent and tardy columns. Checking on the appropriate checkbox will mark the student absent or tardy. An orange dot will appear in the column of students marked absent or tardy. Be sure you mark attendance correctly before submitting. Once you click on the submit and save button you may not make any more changes.

Excused or Suspended Students

Some students' attendance information may have been previously entered by the attendance secretary in the office. If this is the case the record will be locked and the teacher may not change it. Locked records are marked with a lock icon in the leftmost column.
