Notice of Time and Place of Special Meeting

A special meeting of the Kansas City, Kansas Board of Education is hereby called for Thursday, October 10, 2006, at 3:00 p.m., at Coronado Middle School, 1735 N. 64th Terrace, Kansas City, Kansas.

The purpose of such special meeting shall be to assemble in retreat fashion for an informational workshop on charter schools. Board members will recess to executive session under the following exceptions to the Kansas Open Meetings Act:

1. Attorney-Client Exception – for consultation with the Board's Attorney on a matter protected by the attorney-client privilege.
