Free Kansas City Symphony Concert Set at Wyandotte
Once again, with passion!
For the second year in a row the Kansas City Symphony will perform a concert for the public in Wyandotte County.
The concert will be held Friday, March 2 in the Wyandotte High School Auditorium, 2501 Minnesota Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas. It will begin at 7:00 PM. A special pre-concert performance by the KCKPS Honor Orchestra will begin at 6:30 PM.
The price is certainly right, though. The concert tickets are FREE!
Tickets may be obtained at any branch of the Kansas City, Kansas Public Libraries, the KCKPS Education Center in Indian Springs, and from any Kansas City, Kansas school district music teacher.
"We are so grateful to the Kansas City Symphony staff for obtaining grants and other funding sources to allow this to occur in our community," said Jean Ney, Coordinator of Fine Arts & Physical Education for the Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools. "Our students, friends, and families will love the program that Maestro Damon Gupton has put together."
The program will include works by Rossini, Bizet, Borodin, Humperdinck, and Grieg.
