Notice of Time and Place of Special Meeting

A special meeting of the Kansas City, Kansas Board of Education is hereby called for Monday, December 10, 2007, at 12:00 noon, in the multi-purpose room at the Area Technical School, 2220 N. 59th Street, Kansas City, Kansas.

The purpose of such special meeting shall be a joint inservice and discussion between the Board of Trustees of the Kansas City Kansas Community College and the Board of Education of the Kansas City, Kansas Public School concerning a preliminary plan to alter the governance of the ATS in accordance with Kansas law. Board members may recess to executive session under the following exception to the Kansas Open Meetings Act:

1. Attorney Client Exception
   • for consultation with the Board's attorney on a matter protected by the attorney-client privilege

A luncheon for Board members will begin at 11:15 a.m.
