Preschool Enrollments For 4 year olds as of 8/31/07

A free half day preschool program for 4 year olds will be available at:
Preschool at Education Center & Morse/Lowell Childhood Centers
The program will develop: Language Thinking Skills, Physical & Social Skills.
Skills needed to begin school READY TO LEARN

Students will be eligible if they meet one or more of the following Criteria:

• Single parent (Custodial parent is unmarried)
• Limited English determined by KSDE guidelines
• Family Income approved for free meals
• SRS letter of referral
• Either parent without a high school diploma or GED
• Teen Parent(when child was born)
• Family enrolled in a Migrant Program Certificate on file with KSDE
• Child is developmentally/academically delayed based on assessments. (not on a current IEP)

*Priority will be given for students
who meet multiple criteria.*
Transportation will be provided
Breakfast available for a.m. session
Lunch available for p.m. session

Beginning on July 25th

Beginning on June 13th through July 23rd
Hours: Mon. – Thurs. 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. & Fri. 8:00 – 11:30 a.m.
