2008 – 2009 KCKPS Assessment and Survey Calendar
Notes of Importance: These dates provide guidance for school planning but it is important to remember that these dates may change. Please refer to the most recent version of this calendar, posted on the district website
Federal and state regulations require that ALL students must be tested in statewide and district assessments. Consequently, in August schools should discuss with their special education teachers procedures for assessing severely disabled students. Schools should meet with ESL staff to discuss the appropriate assessment option for students with limited English proficiency.
