PROFILES OF PERSONALITIES

Since the beginning of Black education in KCKs, there have been countless number of persons who have made memorable contributions, and who have distinguished themselves nationally as well as locally.  The profiles of these individuals will be given in the following section as a tribute to the great schools and teachers in this city where Black children received their education.  It is obvious that all persons cannot be listed who made contributions, however, enough of the personalities will appear to give the reader insight as to the importance and value that those schools were to the community.  Where possible, the information given with each personality will include the school or schools that were attended, the year of graduation, degrees obtained, if any, present occupation and family name.
