Etta Blance Smith Dahlgren

Etta Blance Smith Dahlgren was an educator who fought for children and education long into her retirement years, including lobbying in Topeka.  She was principal of Frances Willard Elementary School from 1953-1977 (during the completion of the current school building in 1956).  Mrs. Dahlgren passed away in March of 2004.  In the picture below, she is standing at the far left.
