SATURNINO ALVARADO, who died yesterday at St. Margaret's hospital, was born in Mexico and had been a Kansas City, Kansas resident for thirty years.

For the past ten years Alvarado had operated a shoeshop at his home. He was a member of the St. John the Divine Catholic Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Guadalupe Alvarado, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Lucy Moreno; a son, Jesse Alvarado; a sister, Mrs. Soledad Martinez; and two brothers, Jose Alvarado and Aniceto Alvarado, all of Mexico.
