PUPILS OF SNOW SCHOOL MOVE TO NEW BUILDING

The 252 pupils in Snow school in Kansas City, Kansas packed their books and belongings in shopping bags this afternoon and left the old school building at 2901 Seneca avenue to move into the new Snow school at 2605 West Forty-third street.

The new building constructed at a cost of $310,000, contains nine classrooms, a general purpose room complete with stage, kindergarten, a library, and an office and health facilities. The entire cost of the project, including the site and the playground was estimated at $485,000.

The youngsters inspected two of the classrooms they will occupy, and then were dismissed for the Christmas holidays. Classes will be held in the new building, January 2.

Snow school is the ninth projected to be completed in a building program, begun in 1954. Bonds for the propjets were approved in 1953.
