Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools meets with non-public school representatives a minimum of twice a year to collaborate on Federal Title programs. Each year schools discuss various topics with the Federal Programs Office. Topics include placement of students in Title I services, student assessments, funding, services to be delivered, and identifying eligible children. Non-public schools have the opportunity to provide services to their students and professional staff under the Local Consolidated Plan, which includes Title I, Title IIA, Title IID, Title III, Title IV, and Title V.
Every school representative is asked to sign a document that KCKPS has consulted on the participation of eligible private school children.
