18th Annual Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Schlagle Library Eagle Days Event to Be Held on January 19-20

Posted Monday, January 7, 2019

Join us in January to celebrate the American Bald Eagle and all birds of prey! This family-friendly, free event is a great way to see birds in the wild and in live bird exhibits provided by Operation Wildlife.  Activities will include live bird of prey presentations by Operation Wildlife, a children's craft area, binocular checkout and Eagle and waterfowl viewing by the lake from Burrough's Audubon Society members.  This event will take place at two locations at Wyandotte County Lake; the Mr. & Mrs. FL Schlagle Library and JP Davis Hall.  Sponsored by the Kansas City KS Board of Public Utilities.

Eagle Days will be held on Saturday, January 19, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., and on Sunday from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.
