Schlagle Students

Congratulations to the following students of F.L Schlagle High School who delivered a presentation this week to the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas’s Economic Development & Finance Standing Committee meeting about what should be done with the Indian Springs site:

  • Azah Barnes
  • Amya Lynch
  • Tyrone Moore
  • Rafael Robles
  • Tylen Wallace
  • Bryan Zubia

The students met with the UG’s Mayor/CEO David Alvey prior to their presentation to discuss the vision of their plan and how they believe it would be beneficial for Wyandotte County. Their plan was based on gathering student and public opinion. The students held a Community Open House, where they gathered information from different groups of our community to determine what they believed would help the community grow.
