Children in six KCKPS schools began receiving weekly backpacks full of nutritious, kid-friendly food to eat at home over the weekend. Harvesters supplies the food and school staff identify children with the highest need. Schools work with a community partner (in this case Agape Learning Center) to pick-up the food, pack the backpacks and distribute them to the children.
