On January 1, 2011, most of the staff of the KCKPS Central Office will be homeless when the lease for the Education Center at Indian Springs expires. To avoid forcing staff to work out in the cold, the district is using funding from the Unified Government, along with Capital Outlay fund (which can only be used for construction and other "capital" purchases) in order to construct a new central office facility near the intersection of 59th and Parallel. Construction is proceeding rapidly, in order to meet the December 31 deadline.
You are invited to watch our new administration building being built! This is the first of a series of albums that will be posted to document the contruction of the new Central Office / Education Center. The larger version of each photo includes a short description and date the photo was taken.
