Role models who give us Reasons to Believe in the power of education
For more than a century, the Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools (KCKPS) has served the educational needs of students in the community. The district has produced thousands of graduates who have advanced to successful careers, and have become active and productive citizens and leaders in their communities and throughout the nation. They are scientists, doctors, attorneys, political leaders, professional athletes and entrepreneurs. They are advocates, innovators and role models for children of all ages.
KCKPS graduates are making a difference in the world every day. And many of them still have roots in their home community through family and friends, and through programs and initiatives they choose to support. They are proud to call KCK home.
Alumni are inducted into the honor roll at a community celebration that brings together teachers, students, business leaders, lawmakers and past honor roll recipients for a night of honors. The 2011 Reasons to Believe program will take place November 10, 2011. It will begin at 7:00pm on the 1st floor of the KCKPS Central Office and Training Center.
