Reasons to Believe Alumni Recognition

Background

Each year, as many as 12 alumni will be selected by the KCK Public Schools for inclusion in the Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools' Alumni Honor Roll and profiled as Reasons to Believe in the value of education and in the KCK Public Schools. These alumni will serve as role models whose deeds, words, and images are shared with audiences throughout the campaign. They reflect a reservoir of success stories to be leveraged in ways that encourage students, educators, parents, and community leaders, and will support a groundswell of enthusiasm and interest in helping KCKPS students thrive.

The nominees for these awards will have demonstrated exceptional commitment and made significant contributions in a variety of areas, such as their profession or life work, community outreach, or in support of school activities. They are to be examples of the high caliber of students who graduate from KCKPS and go on to success because of their education and commitment.
