Notice of Place and Time of Special Meeting
A special meeting of the Kansas City, Kansas Board of Education is hereby called for Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at 9:00 a.m., in the third floor auditorium of the Kansas City, Kansas Public Library and School Administration Building, 625 Minnesota Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas.
The purpose of such special meeting shall be to assemble in retreat fashion for a budget workshop. Board members will recess to executive session under the following exceptions to the Kansas Open Meetings Act:
- Attorney Client Exception
- for consultation with the Board's attorney on a matter protected by the attorney-client privilege
- Non-Elected Personnel Exception
- to protect the privacy interests of an identifiable individual
- Acquisition of Real Property Exception
- to protect the public interest in obtaining the property at a fair price
