EISENHOWER STUDENT DRESS CODE:
"The Eagle Look"
A standardized dress code was adopted at Eisenhower Middle School to provide parents/students with an inexpensive and readily available standardized dress that could be purchased at most clothing or department stores.
- All pants, shorts, skirts, and jumpers will be plain khaki, plain navy, or plain black in color and fit properly (no sagging).
- All shirts, pullover sweat shirts, sweaters, vests, and blouses will be solid white, navy, black, gray, or khaki. Blouses that open in front with insets will not be allowed. Blouses must be buttoned in front.
- A dark colored (fitted) belt will be required if pants or shorts sag without it. Shirts and blouses will be oxford, polo, or turtleneck (no writing, logos or emblems and no stripes of any kind).
- All shirts, vests, and jackets must be worn with the right side out.
- Coats and jackets will be removed when entering the building.
- Plain white, black, navy, gray, or khaki sweaters, vests, and pullover sweat shirts may be worn over the collar shirt or turtleneck as long as the collar is showing. T-shirts cannot be worn over collared shirts. All shirts and blouses must be long enough to cover the waist band of uniform pants but not so long as to be closer to the knees than the waist or they must be tucked in.
- Skirts, jumpers, and shorts should be top of the knee length.
- No jeans (absolutely no denim — black or otherwise — no denim), no sweat pants, no stretch pants. No clothing with excessive zippers, jewelry, brads, loops or metal that will activate our metal detector. No mouth grills.
- Multiple, bright colored or excessive jewelry is not in the spirit of the uniform and will not be allowed.
- No oversized shirts or pants, no white pants. Undershirts must be uniform color and tucked in. Socks that are not uniform color must be at the ankle.
PE requirement: All students will wear a plain t-shirt (other than the one they may be wearing under their collar shirt) for use during PE class. Parents should buy separate shorts for PE class time.
