Uniform Dress Code Policy
The Uniform and Dress Code are enforced during regular school hours and all school-sponsored activities (including outside of regular school hours).
ALL students must comply with the following uniform policy:
Shirts:
- Solid black, white, navy blue, or khaki
- All shirts must have a collar
- Undershirts: black, white, navy blue, or khaki
- Undershirts must be tucked in
Pants:
- Solid black, white, navy blue, or khaki
- No jeans or jean material
- Pants should fit at the waist with no sagging
Sweaters:
- Solid black, white, navy blue, or khaki
- Must wear a polo/oxford shirt under sweater with collar showing
- No jackets, coats, or hoodies
Shorts and Skirts:
- Solid black, white, navy blue, or khaki
- Skirts: length to top of the knee
- Shorts: cannot end more than four inches above the knee
Belts:
- Solid black, white, navy blue, or khaki
Shoes:
- No flip-flops of any kind
- No house slippers of any kind
Hair:
- Hair should be a natural color. Red, green, blue, etc. are not natural hair colors
Coats and Jackets:
- All coats and jackets must be left in lockers at the beginning of the school day
Miscellaneous:
- No caps, hats, headbands, scarves, bandanas, sunglasses, hair rollers, picks or combs, hair nets, hair "do" rags, or dog collars are to be worn or seen on a student
- Students are responsible for putting away in their lockers the items mentioned above. Any teacher, school employee, or administrator may take such items from the students and a parent will have to come pick them up.
- Long wallet chains are prohibited
- NO CELLULAR PHONES OR ELECTRONIC DEVICES ALLOWED
Students are expected to have their shirts tucked in all the way around their waist during media events, yearbook pictures, concerts, field trips, and on occasions requested by the principal.
